REFUNDS/EXCHANGES

You can feel confident in buying online. We offer returns and refunds at Cypress Creek so you can shop without worry. 

Before purchase, please understand that you are buying a used, uncleaned treasure from the past. Please read the descriptions carefully, examine the photos, and email me if you have any questions. Merchandise is sold "as is". Items may have some degree of wear and tear and discoloration; only significant blemishes or flaws are listed. All measurements provided are close approximates. We enlarge the photos for detail so consult the measurements in your listing. All jewelry will look larger in the photos than in real life. 

If you would like to return your item, you must contact us within 3 days of tracked delivery to receive the return address. We charge a 10% RESTOCKING FEE on all returns. The return tracking number must be dated within 7 days of delivery to you. This means 7 days from tracked delivery, not from when you went and picked it up from the post office. If you do not contact us by the 3rd day, or if you take longer than 7 days to postmark your return, the return will not be accepted. 

Upon a safe return of the original purchased item, you will be refunded for your sales price within 3 business days. Shipping costs are nonrefundable. 

Any custom or repair work done to a piece, including, but not limited to sizing, insurance appraisals, earring conversion, etc. upon purchase cannot be returned or cancelled. Any ring that has been sized or altered is not eligible for a return. 

Layaway, Custom Orders, and Appraisals are non-refundable.

We accept returns with no questions asked. When we relist an item after it has been returned to the store, we will not disclose a previous buyer's return reason to a new prospective buyer, in order to honor previous buyer's privacy and our policy of no questions asked.

Shipping

DOMESTIC SHIPPING

Handling time is usually same-day but can take up to 3 days before shipment. Upon shipment, customers receive an email with tracking information from Etsy.

You have the option to purchase upgraded shipping products at checkout with Priority Insurance or Express. Our standard shipping does not include insurance.

If you are having a ring sized by our jeweler, please allow an extra 2-7 days before shipping.

We do not guarantee postal shipping times, especially after all the USPS changes during Covid. Once the package scans at the post office, the USPS is responsible for your item. If you should experience a shipping problem, you will contact the USPS and provide your tracking number on their website. If your item shows that it was delivered by your local carrier but you did not receive it, you will need to contact your post office. Sellers do not know anything about deliveries. Various types of situations are that the carrier has scanned early and still has to physically deliver it, or they've put it in the wrong mailbox, or on a porch. In these cases, we recommend checking with your neighbors, talking to your carrier, or calling your post office.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

International Shipping is via FedEx. In order to ship to you via FedEx, your purchase indicates that you agree that your parcel will be delivered ONLY TO A COMPANY or FEDEX CENTER. My jeweler's insurance does not allow me to ship to a private residence.

Where do we ship? Now that the Covid shipping issues are remedied in many countries, we are opening shipping back up to a lot of places. I have my store set to "EVERYWHERE" so that I don't have to type in shipping info for every country. Please note that many countries are NOT eligible for receiving a shipment and this is set by your country or my country's state department based on commerce or political issues/problems in your country, that have nothing to do with my store. ***Please message me first if you want to make sure your country is eligible for a shipment and that you understand that your item will be a HOLD FOR PICK UP at your FedEx office. If you check out and I go to create the label, and your country is blocked on my shipping website software, I will be refunding your purchase and cancelling the order.

The customer is responsible for all duties, taxes, associated with Customs so consider this in your final cost for the jewelry you are purchasing. If you're interested in getting an estimate on what the duties will be on a certain item, we recommend the website http://www.dutycalculator.com/ to help you estimate this additional cost.

If we ship an item to you, and you refuse shipment, you are still responsible for the Customs fees that we end up paying. This will be deducted from your refund.

We would like to get your package to you as soon as possible, but please be aware that all Custom's clearance events are different, and we cannot guarantee that your package will reach you by a certain date.


WARRANTY:
Cypress Creek does not offer a warranty for any vintage, antique, and estate pieces. 

We provide detailed descriptions of our pieces. There is a chance that we can overlook something or miss something in a description as we are human (and often type with kids and dogs crawling all over). If something bothers you in a piece, we accept returns within 7 days. 

Other times an item may need repair or servicing at the time of your purchase because we do not have the jeweler inspect items when they come in. All of our pieces are sold "AS IS." This includes, but is not limited to, common defects in old jewelry such as, breaking necklace and bracelet clasps, flip ring hinges, lost stones in a ring. We stress the importance in choosing jewelry that is appropriate for your lifestyle. Soft stones such as opals are not a good choice for an engagement ring if it will be subjected to daily hard wear. Antique accent diamonds were set in a more delicate setting and can be lost if your ring is knocked on furniture, etc. Take antique jewelry off when doing any housework. We recommend having a jeweler inspect and service your item before the one week return time frame. We recommend regular check ups every 6 months with your local jeweler to always ensure that stones are secure. When you purchase antique jewelry, keep in mind that repairs and replacements can be part of the journey in ownership. 

DOCUMENTS/APPRAISALS/"CERTIFICATIONS"
We do not include any paper work with your purchase. Our items are from auction, pawn, consignment, and estates. We DO offer gemological appraisal for an additional fee in the shop. This is a document that can be used for your insurance company. That link can be found in our menu. We recommend that clients investing in higher-dollar items research gem labs, especially GIA, to learn the process of how diamonds and stones are valued and identified. Use caution when you see "certificate of authenticity" online. Any hobby seller online can download a "Certificate of Authenticity" and a jewelry appraisal document. If you want one for insurance purposes, they will not be accepted by underwriting in the event of loss, theft, or damage. 

We do not keep information about listings stored when they sell on another platform. 

A WORD ABOUT RING SIZE
Ring sizing is a close approximate and can vary based on the type of shank or your finger. 

DATING 
Dates of all pieces are estimations based upon information received with the piece, or are based upon the characteristics and style of a particular piece. We cannot guarantee that antique and estate pieces have not been altered at some point. If we know the age of a piece, we date it - if not, we can only estimate. Many of our pieces come from antique/estate auctions and sometimes the age is indicated, but many times it is not. Estimations of sizes, measurements, weights are approximations. 

RESERVATION 
As a higher-volume seller, we only accept reservations with a non-refundable deposit to support an equitable shopping experience for clients across our various shopping forums. Deposit to hold is good for 7 days. On the 8th calendar day, not business day, the item returns to active listing after 10PM Central Time Zone. Your deposit is non-refundable but can be used toward Cypress Creek store credit.
